Destiny will be making its way to the PS4, PS3, Xbox and Xbox 360 when it finally arrives on September 9th, and while the prevailing belief is that the best-looking version of the game will appear on the PS4, those who have yet to make the jump to Sony’s latest console will likely be wondering whether the game they receive from Bungie will be a shoddy version of a game mainly designed for current-gen consoles.
The above comparison video from Digital Foundry pits the PS4 and PS3 versions of the game in a side-by-side comparison, to detail whether the difference in quality when it comes to the game’s visuals is noticeable. The answer is that yes, it is noticeable, but it still definitely looks pretty on the PS3, if not as immediately impressive.

Much has been made of the differences between the PS4 and Xbox One versions of the game, with it being revealed that the Destiny beta released on Xbox One had a resolution of 900p compared to the PS4’s, though Bungie has stated that this will be rectified in the final game.
