The Red Bull Battle Grounds has reached its final destination at Washington D.C. Dozens of the top StarCraft 2 players in the world have been whittled down to just eight.
The eight players who will compete in this weekend’s event are the following:

- Won “PartinG” Lee Sak (Winner of last year’s Red Bull Battle Grounds New York City)
- Kim Yoo “sOs” Jin (Runner-up of last year’s Red Bull Battle Grounds New York City)
Qualified Players (and their Red Bull winning qualifier):
- Sasha “Scarlett” Hostyn (North America)
- Choi “Bomber” Ji Sung (Atlanta)
- Cho “Trap” Sung Ho (Wildcard)
- Park “DongRaeGu” Soo Ho (Global)
- Kim “Cure” Doh Wook (Online Open)
- Choi “Polt” Seong Hun (Detroit)
Live streaming has already begun of the event, which will be host starting at 8:00AM PST today and tomorrow. Today, a few of these players will be eliminated, and tomorrow a winner will be declared. Since there is a $50,000 prize pool on the line, there is sure to be some emotion shown on stage.
