Forza Horizon 2 Storm Island DLC Includes New Area, Extreme Weather and New Content

Out of nowhere a new DLC package for Forza Horizon 2 has been announced, and it arrives tomorrow (December 16th). This is the game’s first post-launch content package, and it means business.

The DLC is called Storm Island, and as it alludes to, it comes packed with a new never before seen area. The DLC is themed around off-road racing, with new vehicles primed and ready to race in the mud.

For $19.99 or $9.99 if you have a VIP Pass, you’ll unlock all the following:

  • 6 new vehicles
  • 1 new Barn Find
  • Storm Island area
  • 80 new events
  • Extreme weather
  • Rampage game mode
  • Gauntlet event
  • New Bucket List
  • New Car Meet

The trailer, as seen above, shows the “extreme” weather in action. It appears to be a more violent version of the current heavy rain model.
