One of the most heavily anticipated, but frequently delayed, elements of Grand Theft Auto V‘s multiplayer component GTA Online is its Heists mode, and today it has received a trailer highlighting how these heists will look when played cooperatively. However, the mode has still yet to receive a confirmed release date.

The trailer highlights a number of scenarios that will take place within the heists, including parachuting out of a helicopter, manning a fight jet, infiltrating a building using night-vision and more.
Though heists were a big facet of GTAV‘s single-player mode, they were never released on GTA Online despite Rockstar touting them as a highlight of the game’s multiplayer. This is now seemingly set to change in the near future, with the Heists mode’s arrival on the PS4 and Xbox One editions of the game also meaning that it will make its debut on last-gen consoles, too.
Rockstar revealed that the mode has a tentative release window of early 2015, and will feature four-player co-op. Speaking to IGN, GTA Online producer Imran Sarwar said: “Each heist requires 4 players all at rank 12 or above, with one player as the designated heist leader. Leading a heist requires owning a high-end apartment so that you have a room available to set up the planning board. From there you’ll be able to launch missions as the leader, starting with the prep work and building up to the score itself.”
The gameplay will feature 5 unique strands and over 20 missions in total, with Sanwar stating that there is a high amount of replayability as players can take on different roles within the heists.
