SXSW 2015 Awards: ‘Peace Officer’ and ‘KRISHA’ Win Top Honors

As SXSW 2015 begins to segue from a film festival to a music showcase, the winners of this year’s awards for the best motion pictures have finally been announced. This year’s two biggest honorees are Peace Officer, a new documentary about William “Dub” Lawrence’s investigation into the increased militarization of the police department, and KRISHA, a feature film adaptation of a hit SXSW short about a women returning home to right past wrongs.
