In January 2016, Black Sails Season 3 will premiere on STARZ, and Captain Flint (Toby Stephens) will once again be the most feared pirate at sea!
After burning down Charles Town, Flint’s reputation has been secured. But much to the horror of John Silver (Luke Arnold), Flint’s reason has given way to madness. Meanwhile, Jack Rackham has secured the Spanish treasure galleon Urca de Lima and taken charge of a new Nassau to establish his own legend. But in the first trailer for Black Sails Season 3, the imprisoned Eleanor Guthrie (Hannah New) appears to have struck a deal with a new threat to the pirates who already has plans to turn them against each other.
This season, Ray Stevenson is joining the cast of Black Sails as the legendary pirate Blackbeard. A fourth season of Black Sails is already slated to begin production this fall in South Africa.
