CraveTV’s Line-up Includes New Drama Billions, Last Season Of The Following

CraveTV just released its January schedule, and in addition to new series like the drama Billions, The Following returns for its final season, with new seasons of Tosh.0, Bitten, Broad City and Workaholics returning of coming back as well. Here’s a quick sum-up:

Friday, January 1st

Workaholics – *Season 5* – found in the Comedies, Sitcoms collections

Adam, Blake, and Ders clock back in for Season 5 of Workaholics.  Dress codes, deadlines, and waking up before noon are not things these guys are used to. They do their jobs and sometimes they even do them well, but they show up late, leave drunk, and always live for the day, even if they don’t know what day it is. This season the guys, along with officemates Jillian (Jillian Bell), Alice (Maribeth Monroe) and Montez (Erik Griffin), and their friend “Karl” (Kyle Newacheck), organize an office ditch day, start a front yard wrestling league and recruit new employees at a college job fair, among other hijinks.

 Friday, January 8th

The Following – *Season 3* – found in the Crime & Mystery, Dramas, Action & Adventure collections

Kevin Bacon reprises his role as former FBI agent Ryan Hardy, and James Purefoy returns as newly incarcerated serial killer Joe Carroll.  After two seasons of a deadly chase between Hardy and psychopath Carroll that amassed a large body count of victims, followers, and loved ones, Season 3 sees Carroll behind bars and Hardy striving to begin a new life.  When a new menace emerges, Hardy’s convictions are challenged as he comes to realize that threats, much more dangerous than Carroll, exist.

Friday, January 15th

Bitten – *Season 2* – found in the Sci-Fi, Fantasy, Drama collections

Season 2 of Bittensees The Pack on the hunt for Malcolm (James McGowan). In their quest to capture him, they uncover a more sinister force that threatens the existence of the werewolf species. This season also introduces The Pack to a Coven of witches with whom they are forced to form an uneasy alliance in order to fight a common foe.

Listen To Me Marlon – *Documentary Premiere* – found in the Documentaries collections

Dynamite: The Rise Of James Brown – *HBO Documentary* – found in the Music, Documentary, and The HBO collections

James Brown changed the face of American music forever. The documentary features rare and never-before-seen footage, interviews and photographs, chronicling the musical ascension of the “hardest working man in show business,” from his first hit, “Please, Please, Please,” in 1956, to his iconic performances at the Apollo Theater, the T.A.M.I. Broad City – *Seasons 2* – found in the Comedies and Sitcoms collections

Season 2 sees Abbi (Abbi Jacobson) and Ilana (Ilana Glazer) dealing with a slew of adventures in New York City, with shenanigans that include: Abbi’s Bed Bath & Beyond obsession; technology overload; a special romance; and holding down their jobs at Soulstice and Deals, Deals, Deals.
