Watch The First Trailer For Justice League vs. Teen Titans Animated Movie

You may be wondering why Superman has four eyes in the image posted above. And he certainly looks evil there, doesn’t he? He’s even more frightening than the frowning Superman from Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice!

The upcoming direct-to-video animated film, Justice League vs. Teen Titans features an intriguing way to make the heroes fight. By temporarily turning the Justice League evil, the film is giving fans the perfect excuse to sit back and enjoy the superhero showdown.

Practically everyone knows who the members of the Justice League are. They’re some of the most well known superheroes in all of comics, including Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman, The Flash, Aquaman, and more. For the purposes of this adventure, the demonic creature known as Trigon has infected the League with his darkness and they’ve become his personal army of destruction.

Standing in the way of Trigon’s conquest of Earth are the Teen Titans. Obviously, Robin is the most famous member of the Teen Titans, even after two animated series on Cartoon Network. But most casual Teen Titans fans probably aren’t very familiar with Damian Wayne, the current Robin who is actually Batman’s son! Damian was raised by the League of Assassins, and his crime fighting methods are…more extreme than Batman’s.

Shortly before Trigon’s plan begins, Robin is forced to join the Titans, which include original Robin, Dick Grayson a.k.a. Nightwing, Starfire, Beast Boy, Blue Beetle, and Raven, the estranged daughter of Trigon himself. Warner Bros. Home Entertainment has dropped the first trailer for Justice League vs. Teen Titans, and it offers a compelling taste of what’s to come. Hilariously, the teased fight between Damian and the possessed Superman already sounds insane in the best way possible.

Justice League vs. Teen Titans will be released on Blu-ray and DVD later this Spring. Warner Bros. has not yet announced the release date, but it’s possible that the movie may premiere at Wonder Con in Los Angeles.
