Meet Your New Favorite Woman on the Internet

The world wasn’t too familiar with Kelly Rohrbach prior to her being announced as Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson and Zac Efron’s co-star in the upcoming film reboot of Baywatch, but while she’s still not exactly a household name, she appears to be on her way to getting there.

Since it was revealed that she would be assuming the role of CJ Parker, previously made famous by Pamela Anderson, Kelly’s steadily been gaining more attention online, with the 26-year-old model-turned-actress amassing over 200,000 followers on Instagram. Helped in no small part by The Rock’s support on his own social media channels which, as you’d expect from The People’s Champion, have millions (and millions!) of followers, it looks like Kelly’s well on her way to establishing a pretty solid career in Hollywood.

Prior to landing the high-profile role in Baywatch, Kelly had only made a smattering of appearances in TV shows and films, with her biggest acting roles having been recurring appearances in Rizzoli & Isles and The PET Squad Files.

However, before Baywatch is released in 2017 Kelly will appear in an as-yet-untitled Woody Allen movie, which also features the likes of Blake Lively and Kristen Stewart, set to be released at some point this year.

As a model Kelly earned a number of accolades, including appearing in Sports Illustrated’s infamous Swimsuit Issue and being named the publication’s ‘Rookie of the Year’ in 2015. She’s also appeared in marketing campaigns for the likes of Gap and Old Navy.

She’s also something of a skillful golfer, with her earning an athletic scholarship to Georgetown University to play for their college sports athletics team.
