Watch John Oliver Utterly Demolish Donald Drumpf’s ‘Big Dumb’ Mexican Wall

Genius comedian John Oliver has once again locked his satirical sniper rifle on US Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump Drumpf and opened fire with critical aim.

After a mind-blowingly epic segment of Last Week Tonight that saw the bespectacled LOL-Einstein artfully annihilate every single excuse that Drumpf supporters have used to justify their endorsement of the Combover King as America’s next POTUS, Oliver has returned to drive the knife deeper still, this time into one of the cornerstone pledges of Drumpf’s campaign.

For those who aren’t quite up to speed with US politics, Drumpf has vowed to build a giant wall along the US-Mexican border.

But then John Oliver came in like a wrecking ball.

From its logistical dumbfuckery to its flagrant racism and xenophobia, Oliver systematically and mercilessly dismantles every single piece of Drumpf’s wall plan with a winning blend of absurd humour and shimmering logic that will leave anyone with an IQ higher than a waffle iron vigorously fist-pumping.

And speaking of waffle irons, they’re the cornerstone of a counter-proposal which Oliver contends will be equally efficient as (while being more cost effective than) Trump’s build-a-giant-wall plan to keep the Mongolians out combat illegal immigration.

“If the main thing it’s going to get us is a warm sense of satisfaction inside, then I suggest instead of building that wall, we use the money to buy every man, woman and child in America a Palmer Waffle Iron,” he concluded.

“I know what you’re thinking: ‘John, this is a stupid idea’.”

But is it? Is it really?

Yes, obviously, it is. But is it significantly stupider than Donald Trump’s wall? Because, this waffle-iron plan will cost less, it will do nearly as much to keep out immigrants and drugs, it won’t harm our relationship with our third-largest trading partner. If it is racist, it’s only toward Belgians, and unlike Donald Trump’s wall, this makes fucking waffles! So come on, America! Let’s ask ourselves, what kind of country do we want to wake up to? One that spends billions on an impossible, impractical symbol of fear? Or one that smells like breakfast?”
