For the first time ever on MasterChef Canada, two home cooks faced a surprise double Pressure Test that resulted in makeup artist Julia Mark of Burnaby, B.C. being sent home by judges Michael Bonacini, Alvin Leung, and Claudio Aprile. Following a hiatus on Sunday, April 3rd for The 2016 Juno Awards, MasterChef Canada returns with an all-new episode on Sunday, April 10th as the Top 10 home cooks dig deep for a Mystery Box Challenge baking sweet treats inspired by love.
On an all-new episode of MasterChef Canada (Sunday, April 10th at 7pm on CTV and CTV GO), the remaining Top 10 must dig deep to bake sweet treats inspired by love. The winning home cook is empowered with a versatile mystery ingredient, and must choose a competitor to cook with the ingredient’s fresh or canned version.
The remaining Top 10 home cooks are vying for the distinguished title of MasterChef Canada and a $100,000 cash prize.
