#6’s Top Six in The 6ix

-Sponsored by LG – Life’s Good-

Cory Joseph is not only our favourite point guard, he’s also GTA born and bred.  Cory recently teamed up with LG to show us that “Life’s Good When You Play More.” In his new role, that of “Chief Playmaker”, Cory – aka #6 – takes us on a tour of his hometown and shows us his favourite spots in The 6ix. All shot on the LG G5.

1. Good eats

Located in the heart of Toronto, Ritz Caribbean Foods serves up delicious food at an affordable price. Cory’s favourite dish? The Roti Chicken Curry, it’s a large portion with the perfect amount of spice.

2. King of the game

Second favourite competitive game after basketball? Ping pong. Catch Cory brushing up on his skills at SPiN, a King St. W. “Ping Pong Night Club” in the heart of the city.

3. Training grounds

Cory got his start as part of the Scarborough Blues Club team, which trained at the YMCA in Scarborough, ON. Fun fact: he played alongside fellow NBA star Kelly Olynyk.

4. Best bud

Cory’s Poodle, Ziggy, has a favorite spot too, their local dog park in Etobicoke, ON. It’s even got sprawling views of The 6ix from the lake.

5. During down time

Nothing says romance like a local bar. Toronto is full of options that offer down-to-earth atmosphere and delicious libations – Cory couldn’t pick just one! Even in dim lighting, capture all the details with the G5’s manual mode, perfect for low-light photos.

6. One stop shop

Cory’s first stop when looking for something different is Holt Renfrew, it’s full of unique fashion finds and keeps Cory’s look on-point off the court. Like the Holt Renfrew in Toronto’s iconic Yorkville neighbourhood. Here’s a pic of Yorkville taken with the G5’s 135-degree wide angle lens which allows you to capture everything in one shot.

One of Cory’s favourite features on the LG G5 is the CAM Plus module which turns the G5 into a DLSR in one easy swap. Show us your favourite spots in Toronto, tag @LGCanada and #LGG5TO.
