So, um…how did this lady become principal?
While this is not another story of a teacher hooking up with a student like the last one we talked about which involved a teacher’s husband getting a student drunk so she can sleep with him, it does involved something extremely bizarre as well.
Laurie Lacy, the school principal at Edison Elementary, has been put on leave by the Salt Lake City School District after it was discovered that Lacy made a student, who is believed to be in the first grade, pull down his pants and sit naked in a chair. And now the Salt Lake City Police have launched an investigation.
A source close to the situation reveals to Fox 13 that the student kept pulling his pants down during class, so when he was sent to Lacy she made him pull down his pants and sit in a chair in the corner of her office. And that kid wasn’t wearing any underwear.
According to the source, a few teachers were also in the office during the incident, and the source says that they are not sure how long the child had to sit like that.
Det. Wilking said the school district and DCFS reported the incident to police. Wilking also reveals that Special Victims Unit detectives are investigating the case, because it’s somewhat sexual in nature and involves a young boy.
Here’s what the Salt Lake School District had to say:
“The district was made aware of the allegations involving the principal at Edison Elementary several days ago and immediately started a comprehensive investigation, including placing the principal on leave. We are also fully cooperating with police in their investigation.”
What in the hell was this principal thinking? Well, doesn’t sound like she was thinking at all.
