And now she’s in hot water.
Julie Glenn, a Michigan village clerk in Augusta was suspended for two weeks without pay and forced to apologize to a couple after she sent them a water bill with a profane insult.
Here’s what Annette Tolis and Kevin Barthel received from Glenn.

It reads “Annette Tolis and the asshole that lives here too.”
Well, that’s certainly one way to show your displeasure for someone.
“It’s addressed to Annette Tolis and the [expletive] that lives here too,” Barthel told WXMI-TV. “I’m 99.9 percent sure that I’m the [expletive] she’s referring to.”
According to the couple, Glenn was apparently upset because they left her a note about their frustration that she was never in the office to help them pay their water bill in person.
So Glenn decided to send them an insult by mail. Very, very old school. And here’s what Glenn sent them after she was forced to apologize.

“I made an inappropriate comment on your bill that was highly unprofessional,” Glenn’s apology letter reads. “I am truly sorry and embarrassed by my actions and I assure you that it will never happen again. I hope you find it in your heart to forgive me.”
This looks like it was written in five minutes using Microsoft Word. Looks as long as my cover letter.
The couple wants Glenn to be punished more harshly because they said she originally denied the letter.
“One, she lied about it,” Barthel told WWMT-TV, “for two, she covered it up and now she has admitted to it and OK, it is just going to go away as though business is usual. I’m not buying that.”
Glenn should have just trolled them on Facebook like normal folks do to get back at someone.
