Wednesday is the perfect gauge of whether you’re a “glass half empty” or “glass half full” person without the pointless busywork of all that glass filling. Are you happy there are only two days left of work when the today is all said and done, or do you still basically have an equal amount of time to serve on your sentence as you already have? That’s the million dollar question. Fortunately, this past Monday was Labor Day, so the answer is obviously that you have an even longer week ahead of you than behind. And yet, you’re probably still pretty jazzed up from the day off, so perhaps optimism is rearing its pitiful head. But what does any of that matter? Didn’t you just come here to laugh like the rest of us?
