Life Imitates Art As Cows Fly Through The Air ‘Twister’-Style During Wyoming Tornado

Entertainment storylines and sight gags unintentionally predict the future all the time. Just look at The Simpsons if you don’t believe us. Or Family Guy. Wyoming tornado copied another piece of art.

Wyoming Tornado Makes You Wonder What is Realistic in Movies

Strangely enough, now you can add the 1996 blockbuster Twister to the growing list thanks to footage from storm chaser / self described “Extreme Meteorologist” Reed Timmer. Caught smack dab in the middle of a ferocious tornado near Cheyenne, Wyoming, he took this video of the behemoth instead of running away screaming in the opposite direction.

Those little specks flying through the air weren’t your average debris. Not unless debris makes a “moo” sound as they fly around. Yep, those were cows being tossed around like rag dolls in winds hovering around the 200 m.p.h. range.

We’ll stick to plain ol’ cow tipping, thanks. No one ever got hurt doing that, right?
