In just over a month, Sookie Stackhouse (Anna Paquin) and company will be back in business.
HBO has released a teaser trailer for the fourth season of “True Blood;” which is loosely based on “Dead To The World,” the fourth novel in Charlaine Harris’ “The Southern Vampire Mysteries” novels.
And in this quick clip, we see Eric Northman (Alexander Skarsgård) in a rather vulnerable position with Sookie, the return of the werewolf, Alcide (Joe Manganiello), a slightly changed Bill Compton (Stephen Moyer) and whole lot of fangs.
Joining the cast this year are Fiona Shaw (“Harry Potter) as Marnie, a palm reader who becomes possessed by a powerful witch; Courtney Ford (“Dexter”) as Andy Bellefleur’s sister, Portia; Dane DeHaan (“In Treatment”) as Timbo, Janina Gavankar (“The Gates”) as a shapeshifter named Luna; Alexandra Breckenridge (“Life Unexpected”) as Daisy and Daniel Buran as Raoul, the leader of the Shreveport werewolves.
The fourth season of “True Blood” will premiere on Sunday, June 26 only on HBO.
