Good news, everybody. After finally confirming that Bruce Willis, Steven Seagal, Jean-Claude Van Damme and Chuck Norris are in The Expendables 2, we finally get confirmation that Scott Adkins is making an appearance as well. (If this had been announced before, what can we say? We missed it.) Fans of Scott Adkins are currently pumping their fists in celebration. People who don’t know who Scott Adkins is are probably pumping their fists in confusion. They don’t know what they’re missing.
Straight from Scott Adkins’ official Facebook page comes this first look at the Undisputed 2 and 3 star on the set of The Expendables 2. All we know right now is that he’s playing some guy named Hector, who apparently gets his fashion advice from Derek Zoolander.
Adkins isn’t a big Hollywood star yet, but he’s already established himself as a big part of the Straight-to-DVD action firmament with his chiseled good looks, mighty physique and truly spectacular fight scenes. Basically he’s the Gary Daniels of the new Expendables. You may also know him from his appearances in The Bourne Ultimatum, Unleashed, Black Mask II and X-Men Origins: Wolverine, where he played Weapon XI in the big climactic action sequence.
