Remember that Halo 5 teaser at E3? Yeah, that wasn’t Halo 5.
Microsoft Studios Vice President Phil Spencer says the video shown during the E3 Xbox event showing a windblown, poncho-wearing Master Chief confronted by an alien machine rising from a desert was actually some other Halo title.
No, he didn’t say what title. Nor did he explain to Crave’s Xbox360Achievements.org where this Halo game falls in the continuity. Spencer did say it is a first-person-shooter running at 60 fps that will be released in 2014. Enlightening.
Spencer did add that they are talking about a potential 10-year Anniversary edition of Halo 2 for 2014, but nothing is certain yet.
