Marvel has finally confirmed weeks of rumors swirling around the Guardians of the Galaxy. Crave’s ComicBookMovie site revealed that Karen Gillian will play space pirate (and self-proclaimed daughter of Thanos) Nebula, Benicio Del Toro will play the immortal Collector and Lee Pace will slip into the role of Kree supervillain Ronan the Accuser.
These are the baddies Marvel fans had long assumed would face the band of intergalactic heroes led by Chris Pratt as Star Lord, Dave Bautista as Drax the Destroyer Zoe Saldana as Gamora.
Glenn Close, Michael Rooker and John C. Reilly round out the cast for the film coming to North America August 1, 2014.
