A free early screening of Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues has yielded some good early reactions from the audience.
Crave’s /Film website listed some of the social media buzz, including:
“So anchorman 2 made the original anchorman look stupid. That’s all I’m saying.”
But while reaction was mostly positive, not everybody was complimentary.
“Just saw Anchorman 2… Dont waste your time. #StayClassy #Anchorman2”
And apparently, we’ve got this to look forward to…
“Anchorman 2 pre screening… So many black jokes.”
Now filmmakers do use these surprise screenings to tweak the final version of their film, so it is likely the cut this audience saw won’t be seen again. But it’s encouraging to note that Farrell and company don’t appear to have dropped the ball on the highly-anticipated sequel.
The final version of Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues drops December 20.
