In found footage on an old laserdisc of outtakes from Return of the Jedi, posted to Crave's Collider website, one of those scenes includes one line from Yoda that may change the way you feel about how Luke was lied to.
Yoda on his deathbed tells Luke, "Obi-Wan would have told you long ago had I let him." Was the dying Jedi trying to take some of the blame off Obi Wan? If he was telling the truth, how do you feel about the conspiracy to keep the truth from Luke and use him as a weapon against his father?
