Footage Emerges Of Campbell Brown Incident

Campbell Brown may be forced out of the AFL after footage surfaced revealing the moments after Brown’s punch to face of Gold Coast Suns teammate Steven May.

The video shows both players locked together with teammate Jack Hutchins trying to split the pair, the recording allegedly taking place moments after Brown broke May’s jaw with a punch.

Members of the Suns were in Los Angeles on Monday night following a club training camp in Arizona with the incident allegedly taking place due to the presence of popstar Rihanna, forcing the Suns players out of the venue as the as the celebrity hosted a private post-concert party.

May is said to have sought to re-enter the club in an attempt to get a photo or an autograph from Rihanna before Hawks premiership player Josh Gibson, also there, stepped in to try to stop the overzealous May.

May requires surgery and will have multiple plates inserted into his jaw. He is expected to miss at least five weeks of action.

The 205-game veteran may be forced out of the door after a string of on and off-field altercations. The 30-year-old was stood down from a leadership role after an incident last in Thailand last year and missed the first six rounds of the 2013 AFL season due to suspension. A further ban, for kicking Melbourne’s James Strauss in the head, will mean Brown misses the 2014 season opener.
