Walt Disney CEO Bob Iger says, according to a report Wednesday on Crave’s ComingSoon.net, Captain America: The Winter Soldier – opening April 4 – will lead directly into the events of The Avengers: Age of Ultron.
Iger did not reveal any specific plot points, but did say the events in Cap will set in motion the storyline for the Avengers sequel. He added that the events will also have repercussions for Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. on ABC.
Is this an evolution of Marvel’s interlocking storylines that cross from comics, to movies, to TV and other platforms? We’ll just have to see when it’s all laid out.
