For the next few weeks, NBC’s primetime lineup will be dominated by its coverage of the Winter Olympics. But there is some new NBC content to look forward to.
NBC has announced that “Grimm,” “Parks and Recreation,” “Chicago Fire” and “Parenthood” will each get new webisodes that will premiere this month. “Chicago Fire” will go first on Tuesday, February 11 with a storyline that catches up with Dawson (Monica Raymond) during her firefighting training as she finds herself facing an emergency situation while alone at the station.
“Parenthood” will follow with a four part serial on Thursday, February 13. Then “Grimm’ will run its four part adventure on Friday, February 14, as Rosalee (Bree Turner) and Juliette (Bitsie Tulloch) attempt to enjoy a spa date with their friends before realizing that a Zieglevolk is casting a love spell on them.
“Parks and Recreation” will bow with its webisodes on Thursday, February 20. Unlike the other shows, “Parks and Rec” will step out of its usual narrative and focus on “The Hapley Group,” a talk show within the world of the series that is hosted by Perd Hapley (Jay Jackson). For the webisodes, Perd will be joined by other Pawnee personalities including Joan Callamezzo (Mo Collins), Mike Patterson (Seth Morris), Crazy Ira (Matt Besser) and “The Douche” (Nick Kroll).
All of the webisodes will be streamed on Hulu, Youtube and NBC.com.
