Yesterday, The CW teased “The Flash” with a quick promo that teamed up Barry Allen (Grant Gustin) with the Arrow, Oliver Queen (Stephen Amell) in a light hearted exchange.
Today at The CW upfronts, the network announced that “The Flash” will be anchoring its Tuesday night lineup at 8pm, with the tenth season of “Supernatural” to follow at 9pm. “Arrow” will remain on Wednesday nights at 8pm, with “The 100” following it at 9pm.
The CW also debuted a new trailer for “The Flash” that pretty much shows everything important from the pilot episode. Specifically, we see the murder of Barry’s mother when he was a child and revisit the accident during his appearance on “Arrow” that gave Barry the ability to be the fastest man alive. However, Barry isn’t the only one who was granted superpowers in the accident, as the trailer reveals that the first Flash villain on the series is Mark Mardon, the Weather Wizard.

“The Flash” is being produced by the “Arrow” team of Greg Berlanti and Andrew Kreisberg alongside David Nutter and Sarah Schechter. The premiere date will be announced later this summer.
