Marvel Reveals Edge of Spider-Verse Miniseries

Earlier this year, Marvel revealed that the upcoming Spider-Verse event will include almost every incarnation of Spider-Man that has ever officially existed. Now Marvel is revealing a few of the Spider-Men who have never been seen before.

In September, Marvel will publish a five issue miniseries called Edge of Spider-Verse; which will feature five different creative teams as they tell the stories of five incarnations of Spider-Man. While the stories are standalone tales, they will tie into each other and into the larger Spider-Verse tale.

For the first issue of Edge of Spider-Verse, writer David Hine will revisit Spider-Man Noir alongside artists Fabrice Sapolsky and Richard Isanove

Jason Latour and artist Robbi Rodriguez come on board for the second issue, which will follow Gwen Stacy in a world where she became the Amazing Spider-Woman.

In the third issue, Dustin Weaver provides the art and story for a Spider-Man named Dr. Aaron Aikman as he encounters Morlun while pursuing a kidnapper.

And in Edge of Spider-Verse # 5, Gerard Way (The Umbrella Academy) makes his Marvel Comics debut with artist Jake Wyatt that deals with someone calling themselves “SP//dr.”

The Edge of Spider-Verse miniseries will run from September to October before Spider-Verse gets underway in November.
