However the HBO adaption of novelist George R.R Martin’s fantasy series may have stumbled across a YouTube sensation with this Bon Jovi-inspired alteration to S04E09.
The 28-second clip reunites old lovers Jon Snow and Wildling Ygritte on opposite sides of the grizzly Battle of Castle Black until a Bon Jovi infused arrow cuts short the dramatic reunion.
The video is the latest in a trend of short musically inspired Game Of Thrones cuts parodying some of the hit series’ heavier moments, following on from the NSFW Greyjoy edition of Dick in a Box and Littlefinger’s Move Bitch.
