We all love those awesome scenes in movies and TV where spies do… well, what spies do best. Infiltrate .
There’s nothing better than watching a good action star slink unnoticed by some heavily armed guards or just completely trick them into thinking that he’s supposed to be there. And that’s why, here at CraveOnline, we’re all so excited about El Rey’s upcoming spy-thriller series, Matador , premiering July 15th at 9pm ET/PT.
In honor of Matador , allow us to share our favorite spy-infiltration movies scenes with you!

Movies With The Best Infiltration Scene
Entrapment
This classic Sean Connery movie is only remembered for one reason, and it has nothing to do with him. If you’ve never had a chance to watch the scene where Catherine Zeta-Jones methodically dances her way through a net of lasers as part of a meticulously planned heist, you haven’t lived. And even though the scene has spawned plenty of knock-offs, it still remains the best.

Fight Club
Alright, the scene where Brad Pitt and Edward Norton smuggle liposuction fat out a gated compound so they can make soap is definitely not the most famous scene, but perhaps it’s the most infamous. Do you remember when the bag of fat catches on the barbed wire fence and pours all over them? Ugh. I still cringe.

GoldenEye
The opening scenes in James Bond films are often incredibly entertaining and action-packed, so when I tell you that the opening scene to Goldeneye, where Pierce Brosnan bungee jumps off a dam, lands on the roof of a military facility and proceeds to slink his way through some heavily armed guards, might be the best one of all time, you know it has to be pretty good.

Inglorious Basterds
Some might call Inglorious Basterds Quentin Tarantino’s best film, and while I’m not entirely sure about that (Pulp Fiction still has a pretty strong hold on me), I do know that the scene where Michael Fassbender and crew infiltrate an Nazi occupied bar to meet up with their actress contact is one of the most tense, amazing scenes in movie history. Well, maybe I do think Inglorious Basterds is his greatest movie after all…

Mission Impossible
The most iconic scene of this movie is Tom Cruise, hanging above a table and acrobatically tossing himself into a position where he can hack the computer below him and copy some precious, precious files. This is definitely one of the better infiltration scenes of all time.

Ocean's Twelve
Oh, the “Ocean” movies. At first, they basically seemed like an excuse for a bunch of cool actors and actresses to hangout onscreen for our enjoyment. But during the second movie (Ocean’s Twelve for those of us who are counting), there’s an incredible moment where an infiltration scene goes about as meta as can be. The character that Julia Roberts plays – Tess Ocean – pretends to be Julia Roberts so that she can gain access to an otherwise impenetrable location.

The Italian Job
There’s only one thing that anybody remembers about the remake of The Italian Job, and it’s not Marky Mark’s impeccable hair or Mos Def’s great acting performance. I’ll give you a hint: Mini Coopers.
The Rock
Have you seen The Rock? If yes, then you realize that this entire movie is one of the greatest infiltration scenes of all time. If no, then go out and rent the damn movie before word gets out and everybody starts making fun of you.

The Thomas Crown Affair
The oddly endearing (and sexy) remake of The Thomas Crown Affair has a lot going for it, Pierce Brosnan, Rene Russo, big mansions, fast cars, fancy art… But best of all, it has an incredible heist scene where Pierce Brosnan and army of men in bowler caps confuse the hell out Dennis Leary. Well, I guess that’s not so hard to do.

X-Men Days of the Future Past
One of the newer movies on this list, the latest X-Men flick has a lot going for it. It’s got JLaw back as Mystique, Peter Dinklage doing a great job as Trask and even Hugh Jackman as Wolverine (no way!), but the show-stopper in this movie is a little character named Quicksilver and how he helps Professor Xavier break Magneto out of his metal-less prison in the depths of the Pentagon. Great stuff.
