Academy Award-winning actor Matt Damon got his wish. Director Paul Greengrass is back in the saddle again, and so therefore is he.
Damon confirmed this during an interview with E! on the evening of a red carpet event celebrating the return of Project Greenlight. Currently slated for a July 15th, 2016 release date, this calls into question the Bourne Legacy sequel originally planned for that month of the same year. Will Jeremy Renner still be starring as Aaron Cross in his own film, or will he be absorbed into the next film, appearing alongside Damon’s Jason Bourne?
