If you’re one of the lucky comic fans at Emerald City Comicon this Saturday, March 28, then you’ll be able to see the Fight Club 2 creative team of writer Chuck Palahniuk and artist Cameron Stewart appear with cover artists David Mack and Dave Stewart courtesy of Dark Horse Comics.
Fight Club 2 is the sequel to Palahniuk’s classic novel that takes place several years later, as the unnamed narrator (now calling himself Sebastian) finds himself in an unhappy marriage with Marla Singer and they’re both stuck in a depressing life that leads to the return of Sebastian’s alter-ego, Tyler Durden.
Superstar comic book artist and writer Amanda Conner is contributing a Fight Club 2 variant cover for Tate’s Comics down in Florida. CraveOnline is proud to debut Conner’s cover today, as Marla is pictured with some “new friends.”
If you’re wondering about the “friends” with Marla, those are children with a rare progressive genetic disorder that causes them to age rapidly. The previously released Fight Club 2 preview pages revealed how Marla met the children in a callback to the way she first encountered Sebastian in the original Fight Club.
Chuck Palahniuk will be appearing in person at Chapman Conference Center, Miami Dade College Wolfson Campus in Miami, Florida on Tuesday, May 26. The event is being presented by Books and Books and Tate’s Comics. For more info, visit booksandbooks.com or call 305-442-4408.
Fight Club 2 will debut in comic stores everywhere on Wednesday, March 27.
