The Briggs family have received their very own trailer for the upcoming Mortal Kombat X, with Jackson “Jax” Briggs and his daughter Jacqueline showing off their gruesome moves ahead of the game’s launch later this month.
Series veteran Jax and newcomer Jacqueline both look set to impact the story of Mortal Kombat X in a big, brash way, and the selection of Fatality moves highlighted by the above trailer indicates that they’re both going to be more than adept with taking on the evil forces of the Netherrealm.

Jax’s Fatality in particular, which sees him semi-decapitating Quan-Chi in the trailer and leaving his head dangling from his body, is a grisly addition to what is shaping up to be the most violent Mortal Kombat in the series’ history… and that’s saying something.
Mortal Kombat X will make its way to the PS4, Xbox One and PC on April 14th, while the PS3 and Xbox 360 versions of the game will launch at the later date of June 2nd, 2015.
