In the ‘70s and ‘80s, TV miniseries were very ambitious in terms of scale and spectacle. This summer, Spike is reviving the spirit of the epic TV miniseries with Tut, a three night event.
Tut stars Avan Jogia as Tutankhamun, the youngest Egyptian king as he rises to power as the miniseries provides “a fascinating window into a world filled with heart-breaking romance, epic battles, political backstabbing, conspiracy, jealousy, and even murder.”
Iconic actor Ben Kingsley also headlines the cast of the Tut miniseries, which includes Nonso Anozie, Sibylla Deen, Alexander Siddig, Kylie Bunbury, Iddo Goldberg and Peter Gadiot.
Spike has released the first full trailer for Tut, which you can watch below.
Tut will debut on Spike on Sunday, July 19.
