Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 5 Will Let You Build Your Own Skatepark and Share it Online

More details regarding Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 5 have been announced as pre-orders for the game have been made available through various online retailers.

The new entry in the series, which publisher Activision will be hoping will end its poor run of recent form, will allow players to create and share their own skateparks according to its listing on Amazon UK, with players able to post their designs online whilst also being able to download parks that others have created.

The game will also feature 10 playable pro skaters with their own unique selection of tricks, along with the Create-a-Skater feature from Tony Hawk games of old. It will also feature online objectives and challenges you can set other players, though simultaneous online gameplay hasn’t been confirmed.

Here’s the full list of features we know about so far, as listed on Amazon:

  • Pull off infamous Pro Skater moves and extended trick combinations
  • Complete objectives during online sessions and challenge other players
  • Play as one of ten pros with their own tricks, or personalise a unique skater
  • Jump in and out of over 80 unique missions across eight environments
  • Create and share skateparks, and let loose on designs from the community

Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 5 is pegged for release on PS4, Xbox One, PS3 and XBox 360 on December 31st, 2015. Activision has yet to make an official statement regarding these newly unveiled features, though we should expect a comment from the company sooner rather than later.
