Yesterday, the news broke that, while filming Liz & Dick, Lindsay visited Elizabeth Taylor’s longtime nurse. The nurse was unaware that she was meeting with an international jewel thief, so she made the mistake of showing Lindsay a necklace that Taylor gave her before she died. Then, per the usual, the necklace immediately came up missing as soon as Lindsay left and Lindsay denied all involvement. Except, you know, she’s a strung out crackhead and couldn’t help but brag to everyone around her. Guess what happened next! You’ll never believe it! Radar Online reports:
“Lindsay had taken the bracelet that was owned by Taylor – and left to her long-time nurse after she died – without the nurse’s knowledge or permission, to a jeweler. Lindsay wanted the jeweler to reproduce a fake replica of the bracelet and she planned on giving that one back to the nurse,” a source close to the situation tells Radar. “Lindsay planned on keeping the original and bragged to friends about her brilliant plan. However, the plan was thwarted when the nurse demanded that Lindsay return the treasured piece, or she was going to the cops. One of Lindsay’s minions returned the bracelet shortly thereafter.”
When I lived in Miami, this guy knocked on my door at 3am and asked if I could hold this power drill he found for $20 because he needed gas for his car. When he wasn’t scratching his arms and looking over his shoulder, he kept holding the drill game show girl style. I’m not sure what this has to do with this story, but I imagine that’s how Lindsay looked at the jewelry store.
