A major iPhone 7 leak has reportedly revealed almost every detail regarding Apple’s upcoming smartphone.
Though the device is set to be unveiled later this week, with the company finally revealing its next flagship phone during the Apple Event on September 7, trusted sources have seemingly revealed mostly everything we need to know about the upcoming device. The routinely reliable Asian business group KGI Securities have reportedly let the cat out of the bag in regards to what Apple will be announcing later this week, with the company also providing additional confirmation that the iPhone 7 will indeed fail to feature a headphone jack.
According to KGI Securities, the iPhone 7 will boast Apple’s A10 processor – something which was also suggested in last week’s leak – while it will now only be available in two colors, “piano black” and “dark black,” with space gray no longer being an option. The rumored dual-lens camera will also allegedly make an appearance, providing a significant upgrade to the device’s photography abilities.
The headphone jack will be dropped to make room for improved built-in speakers and a better display, along with improvements to the device’s Force Touch capabilities. It will also reportedly make the smartphone more waterproof as a result, which stands to reason given that it will reduce the number of potential entry points for liquid.
All in all this leak offers very similar information to what we’ve already been told, albeit from a more trusted source. This suggests that the information that’s been fed to us ahead of the Apple Event is credible and that Apple may not have that many surprises up its sleeve when it comes to debuting the brand new flagship device.
