“So…you’ll call me?”

People want to work, of course. Well, everyone wants to work except the woman who thinks she’s “too beautiful” to get a job. But for the most part, people want a job, and that is why a girl named Megan Dixon went in to a steakhouse called Miller and Carter for a job interview. And let’s just say things didn’t go as planned after the interview wrapped up.

After an interview with the steakhouse’s assistant manager Shantell Wesson, Dixon was told she would receive an email in a few days. Well, as soon as Dixon left the steakhouse this is the text she got from Wesson herself. Take a look at a screengrab of the text below thanks to Twitter.

The laughing emoji is just a knife into her unemployed heart.

Dixon had this to say to The Mirror about Wesson: “Her phone was going off throughout the interview. I was shocked. The least she should have given me was some proper feedback. It was a really bitchy thing to do.”

While Wesson has not commented, the steakhouse did have this to say to Dixon.

“We can’t apologize enough to Megan. It was never our intention to be disrespectful or upset her in any way. The texts were sent in error and were intended for our manager, not the candidate.”

And if Wesson did text the wrong person, perhaps she is not even suited to be assistant manager. Actually, she clearly isn’t.

Here’s hoping Dixon finds another job, and chances are someone on social media will see this and give her a job because that’s what happens on the internet.
