We are in the middle of possibly the largest beer renaissance in the history of mankind folks. Long gone are the days of only having three options when you walk into the watering hole. In 2017, we expect a vast array of delicious options, and I’m not talking Yeungling.

We’ve seen vagina beer, music-festival-urine beer, and now my hipsters, allow me to introduce you to fried chicken beer.

we told you chicken was the theme of the day #friedfriedchickenchicken

Ahhh, just look at all that golden, crispy goodness drop into the mash tun.

The beer is a collab out of Richmond, VA between The Veil Brewing Co. and Evil Twin Brewing. It’s called ‘Fried Fried Chicken Chicken’; it’s a DIPA coming in at 8 percent ABV; the fried chicken is an assortment from restaurants around Richmond.

According to the brewers, less than .4 percent of the total weight of the mash contents was fried chicken, so they say it doesn’t remotely taste like chicken.

make fried chicken beer, not war. @theveilbrewing is a total brewery crush #Repost @theveilbrewing (@get_repost) ・・・ This Tuesday July 25th will be the debut of Fried Fried Chicken Chicken! Fried Fried Chicken Chicken is our latest collabo with our good friendz @eviltwinbrewing. Clocking in at 8%, FFCC is a DDH Old Country DIPA hopped v heavily with Citra, Simcoe, and Enigma. The idea came to us after eating a significant amount of fried chicken at various establishments in our beautiful city of Richmond. We actually put a VERY small amount of Fried Chicken in one of two of the mashes(less than .4% of the total weight of the mash contents). It doesn’t even remotely taste like chicken. If you think it does, you might want to go to the doctor bucko! We are super super pumped how this one turned out. Shoot for approx 215-240 cases. $18.50+tax/4-pack. 3x 4-packs per person. *LIMITS SUBJECT TO CHANGE* We hope to see y’all this Tuesday at 4pm for our weekly can release.

The beer debuted on Tuesday. They made 215-240 cases; the cost is $18.50 plus tax for a 4-pack, which is pricey, but I guarantee they sold out fast considering their social reach.
