Back in my day, doughnuts had fillings like jelly. Now I’m old, broke and doughnuts have taken on some sort of life-form that nobody really asked for. And now thanks to Pedestrian.TV, we now know that a doughnut place out there actually thought it would be a good idea to pack their doughnuts with energy drinks.
Donut King are the masterminds behind this green doughnut. It’s called the V Donut, and it’s filled with guarana, which is the active ingredient in the New Zealand energy drink, V.
Oh, it’s also covered in sugar. You know, just to keep one classic doughnut ingredient intact. I don’t know who in their right mind would want to get an energy jolt from a doughnut, but apparently there are people out there who want this thing.
Did that young lady have a heart attack soon after? No word yet. Here’s how Donut King describes this monstrosity on their website:
