Most of us take the ability to complete daily tasks like exercising, showering, and cooking for granted. But after reading this story and watching this video, you may have a brand new appreciation for all your body can do.
Meet 38-year-old Sarah Talbi of Brussels, Belgium. She was born without arms. Throughout her life, she’s perfected the use of her feet to help her carry out everyday chores like chopping vegetables, combing her hair, and caring for her 2-year-old child.
“My disability had to adapt to having a baby,” she said. “Now I have two years of experience and I can do everything with my daughter.”
Check out this video and see her fancy footwork.
So the next time you want to skip your workout, order takeout for the umpteenth time, or just run some dry shampoo through your hair and call yourself clean, remember Talbi. If she can make it through her to-do list, you really have no excuse.
