The majority of us will likely never go to space, but NASA is now offering us a semblance of the experience with a new project that live streams video footage of the Earth as seen from International Space Station.
The High Definition Earth Viewing (HDEV) experiment has seen NASA attaching four cameras outside of the ISS, with the cameras pointing down at Earth for 24-hours per day. The end result is hypnotically beautiful footage.
You can watch the live stream below. Be sure to watch it in ‘Best’ quality and go fullscreen, too. When the stream is off-air, it will be replaced by a grey screen.
