Well this is certainly one way to become “Internet famous.”
Artist Hector Janse van Rensburg has been occupying his time by scrolling through Facebook, taking strangers’ profile pictures and then turning them into sloths with his watercolor skills.
Hector, a.k.a. ‘Shitty Watercolours‘, has turned over 50 people into sloths thus far, with him having absolutely no connection to his muses whatsoever. Hector even drew Mark Zuckerberg as a sloth, with the Facebook creator “liking” the image after he was sent it by the artist via the social network.
Check out our favorite examples of Hector’s work below, and hope that one day he will stumble upon your Facebook profile.
