A huge mid-air brawl erupted on an Air China flight after two women complained that a passenger’s baby was making too much noise.

The incident, which took place on Air China Flight 433 from Chongqing to Hong Kong on Thursday (December 18th), saw two women telling passenger Chan Juan Sung that her baby was making too much noise, before requesting the she do something about it. After Chan shouted at the women, they then proceeded to recline their chairs all the way back. Chan they threw a punch at them from her sight, which escalated into a full-blown mid-air fight.
45-year-old Xiong Wan reportedly saw the entire scuffle break out, telling the Mail Online: “I was sitting right next to them when they started telling the woman to shut the baby up. She started shouting back at them, and before I knew what was happening she leaned over the seat, and punched one of them … They were fighting, the baby was now screaming and other passengers were shouting.”
The flight still landed at its destination on time, though Hong Kong police spoke with the women after they had exited the plane. It hasn’t been confirmed whether or not any arrests were made.
Speaking of the incident, an Air China spokesperson said: “Passengers cannot behave like this. Each and everyone must adhere to aviation laws to ensure a safe and comfortable flight for all.
