COLLECTION | Lou Dalton – Spring/Summer 2016

Crisp, modern, tailored, and a hint of retro depicts Lou Dalton’s spring summer 2016 collection. Using vibrant colors within madras and glen plaid prints takes a person back to the 90s. A time of new wave music and massive raves, this collection would fit perfectly but would stand out with its impeccable tailoring.

Dalton included fitted ponchos, pants, utility jackets alongside graphic tees and oversized shorts. These items adhered to a strict color code of orange, hues of blue, white and gray. All though the collection used various plaids and stripes it was cohesive from start to finish.

This year’s collection was a dramatic shift from last year’s filled with solid colors and clean lines. Dalton included clean lines in her second to last look that featured a utility suit, but otherwise livened up the runway.

If you have a love for fun and fitted clothes then this collection will fill up your closet.
