The HP Envy Curved All-in-One PC is the Best-Looking Desktop We’ve Ever Seen

Forget about specs for a second here. Forget about your pixel density, RAM and GPU, and instead lets approach the HP Envy Curved from a purely aesthetic standpoint. It is beautiful, is it not? You may not be on board with The Curve as TV and now PC manufacturers appear to be, with every display in the near future seemingly set to follow the exact curvature of our eyeballs, but if there’s one product that will convince you to leap onto the bandwagon, then HP’s upcoming all-in-one desktop will surely be it.

The 34-inch diagonal curved display, which has led HP to brand it the “world’s widest curved all-in-one,” features a 3440 x 1440 resolution screen that makes it more accomplished most dual-monitor setups, although falls below the 4K resolution many PC gamers look for. Still, that doesn’t mean to say that its underwhelming in this department, as a monitor of this resolution with its 21:9 aspect ratio still looks pretty fantastic even if it isn’t ultra HD.

Running Windows 10 right out of the box, the HP Envy Curved can also be customized to match its users’ needs. While you can opt for an Intel Core i5 CPU, 8GB of RAM and integrated graphics, those interested in using it for gaming will no doubt want to get their hands on the model with the Core i7 Skylake dual-core CPU, 16GB of RAM and an Nvidia GeForce 960A, which also features 128GB SSD or a 1TB hybrid drive. With the recommended specs of PC games now becoming higher due to the launch of Microsoft and Sony’s more powerful consoles, this setup will allow you to run most games on a higher graphics resolution. The inherent problem with an all-in-one desktop is that it won’t be able to be upgraded in the future, but at least the HP Envy Curved will put you ahead of the pack and give you a good few years of gaming until it inevitably becomes outdated.

The desktop also features some impressive audio, with speakers designed by Bangs & Olufsen being placed on either side of the display. This inevitably makes its monitor even wider, meaning that if you’re going to want to house this thing in your office, you’re going to need a considerably large desk in order to do so.

There’s also the option to fit the HP Envy Curved with an Intel RealSense Camera, a full HD web cam compatible with Windows Hello, and HP boasts that it is also the first all-in-one PC to be “Technicolor Color Certified,” meaning that its screen “displays colors correctly, every time.”

The HP Envy Curved will be available on November 22nd, with prices starting at $1,799. Find out more here.
