Tesla Motors has released a video promoting its vehicles’ Autopilot feature, which allows its cars to navigate their surroundings without a driver’s input by way of autonomous technology.
The Autopilot mode allows the Model S to successfully drive of its own accord, with it capable of making automatic lane changes, successfully navigating itself around a highway, and even parallel parking.
Tesla Autopilot was made available last October, with it being rolled out in a software update for the Model S. The feature costs an extra $2,500 for Model S owners to access, though initial results have been impressive, and the company have more updates for the technology planned in the future.
