Here’s What A Record 105 MPH Fastball Looks Like

If you’ve ever wondered what the fastest pitch ever thrown looks like, Aroldis Chapman threw 105.1 miles per hour Monday night.

The pitch came against Orioles shorstop J.J. Hardy. It nearly hit his shin.

Be sure to turn on the sound.

Statcast confirmed the record, one already held by Chapman. He threw 105 mph with the Reds in 2010.
