It may be quite a while before new episodes of The Venture Bros. return to Adult Swim, but this week, the sixth season is heading to Blu-Ray and DVD!
While he was never far from the action, The Venture Bros. season 6 brought Patrick Warburton’s Brock Samson back into the fold as the family bodyguard. But in the special hour-long episode, “All That and Gargantua-2,” Brock was still working on the OSI’s most dangerous assignments. In CraveOnline’s exclusive deleted scene, Brock and his OSI partner, Amber Gold go undercover, while a meeting of Phantom Limb’s Revenge Society leads to a joke by Radical Left that didn’t quite make the final cut.

During the sixth season, Dr. Venture and his sons, Hank and Dean, had to deal with the unexpected side effects of their new found wealth. Meanwhile the Monarch adopted a new costumed persona to continue his personal vendetta against Venture, while Dr. Mrs. The Monarch attempted to hold the Guild of Calamitous Intent together while hunting down the apparent return of a dead hero who used lethal force against her fellow villains.
All eight episodes from season 6 as well as the one-hour special are including on the Blu-ray and DVD release. Additionally, the set includes more deleted scenes, commentary by the creators of the series, and other additional features. It’s no substitute for a new season, but it’ll do for now!
The Venture Bros. Season 6 Blu-ray and DVD will be released on Tuesday, October 4.
