This weekend Rockstar tweeted out an image of the company’s logo against a red backdrop, which was taken as a sign that the developer was working on the long-awaited Red Dead Redemption follow-up. Now the company has posted another tweet, with this new tease all but confirming the existence of the sequel.
The new tweet, which Rockstar has since made its Twitter cover panel, features an image of a group of cowboys standing in front of a sunrise. If this isn’t hinting at Red Dead Redemption 2, then we’ll eat our Stetsons.

Though Rockstar has yet to officially announce the Red Dead Redemption sequel, the only other potential explanation after these two teases is that Rockstar is working on a Red Dead Redemption PS4/Xbox One remaster. Although many have been asking for a remastered version of the 2010 game, we hope that isn’t the case and that we’ll finally get to revisit Rockstar’s take on the Wild West in the current console generation. It seems that Rockstar is gearing itself up for an announcement in the very near future, so watch this space.
