Although A Tribe Called Quest fans lost Phife Dawg in 2016, they will be blessed with a new album. Q-Tip confirmed on his Facebook page that the iconic hip-hop group’s final album will be released on November 11, 2016.

In the endearing post, the Tribe’s leader, explains that the as-yet-untitled album was conceived after the group’s buzzed about “reunion” show on The Tonight Show With Jimmy Fallon last year.
Although the beloved “Five Footer” passed away in March, Q-Tip says “he left us with the blue print of what we had to do.” Longtime Tribe-collaborators Busta Rhymes and Consequence are featured on the album, which was first hinted on by L.A. Reid back in August.
Additionally, word is that Tribe will be the musical guest on Saturday Night Live following the album’s release, with rumors of a special guest joining the group.
